Beautiful Lady

Mysterious stagger of a drunk lady
She just whispered slurred emotions
Crying tears of passion for a stranger
Beautiful lady thinks I am the one

Eyes sweep over a beautiful figure
She looks so lost in her alcohol smile
Spoken words of confusion to me
Beautiful lady thinks I am the one

A voiced concern of the unknown beauty
Wondering if she alone on this night
Where are her friends of a night out
Beautiful lady thinks I am the one

Blackout beauty hits a deep sleep
Hanging on to me like a jacket
Slowly breathes to an unknown dream
Beautiful lady thinks I am the one

A beautiful stranger is easy to lift home
Dead of the night meets no stranger
Into my home and on to my bed
Beautiful lady thinks I am the one

A glass of water for the hangover beauty
Placed next to my bed as she sleeps
I go to the sofa for an uncomfortable nap
Waiting for the beautiful lady to wake up
