Sorry, from the future

Breathe into the past of tomorrows
Wishing my eyesight could see the truth
Distracted by the forgotten importance
Love slipped into the shadows

A frown upon a beautiful soul
Held a vulnerable heart out to me
Never attended for a sad upon a face
Always wanted the best for you

Eyes on a lady spoke a story
Wishing her words reached my lips
My heart would have blossomed for you
Can't meet the unknown expectations now

My bond with you was true
Our friendship was a sunset joy
If only I could see the ocean
Am sorry, from the future
